Victoria bound

The LB and I are en route for our very first weekend away, shared travel experience. For all the traveling I’ve done, I’ve been horribly neglectful of my own home province. In this case, I have been to Victoria before, I just haven’t taken part in much exploration. One of my best friends lived there for a while, so most of the time I spent during that period involved patio, champagne, imported cigarettes and little else. I certainly didn’t see the city. The last trip I took was PG, as I was with a different friend and had her two adorable kids in tow. We saw the sites, but, yeah, I’ll say it: kids limit you.

I’m excited to get to some adult adventures this weekend. Yes, I brought my iPhone, but I left the MacBook at home these’ll be the first three point five days I’ve spent without a computer for a long, long time.

P.S. Last time I was in Vic was when I got an email asking for permission to use my blog in that textbook, remember? Maybe something equally exciting will happen again this time. Maybe lots will.
