Proof I was born a letter writer

This letter was written just about 2 weeks past my 8th birthday. I’m fairly certain that the stationery was a gift from my aunt that year and I remember it as the very first set I ever had.

Ha! I thought that too. Although, it was almost like an afterthought. “Wait a second. Did I date that so my 35 year old self can pinpoint exactly when I wrote it?” I hadn’t perfected the year portion of it by then so I had to resort to postmark for that.
